Grundy County, Tennessee is built for the kind of traveler who measures a good day in mud, elevation, and miles. We were brought in to capture the county's adventure tourism offering — ATV trails, off-road parks, and the untamed Tennessee wilderness that draws visitors from across the Southeast.
Grundy County's tourism appeal is visceral and action-driven, but most destination photography defaults to passive landscapes. The challenge was creating content that communicated the adrenaline of off-road recreation without losing the natural beauty that surrounds it.
We shot at dusk and golden hour to maximise the drama of the terrain, positioning vehicles and landscapes to create imagery that works equally well for paid advertising and organic social. The content was designed to appeal to the adventure travel segment that's increasingly influential in domestic tourism.
